How does Weddily work?
Weddily is the best platform to help engaged couples with their venue and vendor discovery and booking process. By linking together a network of the most highly-rated venues and vendors across North America, Weddily is the first and only wedding tool that has the ability to display the full scope and true starting price of a complete wedding at any of the hundreds of exclusive venues on the Weddily platform. Weddily is also the most innovative wedding customization and booking tool available.
How does the booking process work for vendors?
When we have matched a client with a venue, we will recommend top vendors based on the venue's preferred vendor list to instantly create the client’s ideal wedding dream team. The couple can select from the vendors' available services and easily upgrade or downgrade options as their style and budget permits. The couple will then take the next step by submitting a booking request to the venue and vendors. Upon confirmation, Weddily will connect the couple with the wedding team and they will work
What is the cost for venues and vendors to join Weddily?
Weddily Pricing Structure: There is NO COST to join Weddily and generate high-conversion booking requests - no membership or subscription fees, no lead gen fees, and no sign up fees. Weddily only charges a success fee / commission applied to completed bookings where a Weddily booking request has been accepted and the fee is only payable after you have been paid by the client for actual goods and services performed. What regions does Weddily feature?
Primary regions include Northern and Southern CA, Texas (Austin-Dallas-Houston), Los Cabos, Riviera Maya (Cancun-Playa del Carmen-Tulum), South Florida, Colorado, Chicago, Nashville, New York and Puerto Vallarta, with more rolling out on a weekly basis. If you don't see your specific region featured, we encourage you to still request access and complete your profile as locations are launched based on venue and vendor participation.
How do I add/edit images on my profile?
Image locations for venues: Log into the onboarding portal at https://onboarding.weddily.com/ and select your venue tile to open the Navigation Page. As a vendor, I have multiple options (i.e. rental company with 20 chair types). How do I include all of them?
The point of Weddily is to give the couple the scope and costs of a complete wedding. All final details (like specific chair) can be selected after the couple has decided on a wedding team. We recommend adding the top 3-4 most popular items in each category with average pricing (ie. plastic chairs vs wood chairs vs upholstered chairs) and once the couple selects you as their vendor of choice, you can work together (like you typically would with any other client) to finalize the specific chair se
Is Weddily involved in the client contract process at all?
No. Once we connect you with the client, you run your existing process from there - working directly with the client to prepare your final contract. After the event, we will submit an invoice for the agreed upon referral fee.
Is there any commitment or obligation required to join Weddily?
No. There is no obligation or join or to accept any booking requests, and you can remove or hide your profile at any time. However, Weddily is a curated, invitation-only platform with capped membership so once an account is removed it may be subject to a waitlist for reactivation.
How are leads handled/distributed?
Preferred Vendors (as designated by each venue’s preferred vendor list) will receive booking priority. If there are multiple preferred vendors for the same vendor category the default booking requests will alternate between the preferred vendors. The client also has the ability to add/swap vendors through the platform. Over time additional factors will be considered such as client reviews and vendor responsiveness.
I signed up but don't see my profile on the site?
Just hang tight! We open markets in 'batches'. If you have been invited to join, chances are your market will be launching soon. You will receive an email notification once your profile is eligible to go live. If your market is already open and you still don't see your listing / profile, your profile is still likely under staff review. Does Weddily replace the wedding planner?
No. Weddily is a platform that aids in the wedding discovery, planning and booking process but Weddily does not replace the wedding planner. Weddings are complex events with many moving parts, which is why many venues will require a full-time or day-of wedding planner. Similar to the venue and other 3rd party vendors, Weddily will also help clients discover and book the right full-time wedding planner to meet their needs.
Are there any additional fees?
No. Apart from the booking referral fee, there are no additional fees and no obligations whatsoever.
Do you limit the number of venues and vendors per region?
Yes. This is based on a subjective evaluation of each market. We cap the number of venues at between 10 - 30 per market depending on market size and we limit each vendor category to 3-5 per market.
Do bridal clients pay to use Weddily?
No. Weddily is a free service for bridal clients.
What happens if the client cancels?
Your client contracting process stays the exact same - the client will contract with you directly just like any other non-Weddily client engagement - and, as such, the client cancellation process is in accordance with the terms and conditions as reflected in your existing contract with the client.
When will Weddily be ‘live’?
Weddily is launching in Winter 2020.
